More than one third of mankind earns a substantial part of their living through growing, processing and marketing of bamboo. We are convinced that BAMBUTEC is a technology which helps to enlarge this fraction. The results of numerous development projects and researches show clearly that bamboo plays a key role in view of sustainable construction.

We want to facilitate the application of BAMBUTEC worldwide. For this reason we are establishing a network which offers the opportunity for the participants to bring in their ideas and to benefit from the collected experiences.
Our goal is not maximisation of profit, but to make the technology usable for as many people as possible. This enables them to use the fastest-growing renewable resource bamboo also for modern constructions and building methods.
